All I’m gonna say is that Laura is amazing. She worked diligently with me to create a custom look for me to wear with my flight attendant uniform. I can’t wait until it gets cold so I can wear. I’m beyond pleased.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Traveling Tree opened it's doors in the Fall of 2010 where all items are hand knit in the Pacific Northwest.

I started Traveling Tree to motivate myself to be more creative on a daily basis. I spent nearly five years working at a ceramic studio and I missed the daily routine of working with my hands. Many of the techniques I learned there I now use in my shop to create unique, one-of-a-kind buttons out of kiln fired and polymer art clay to compliment a variety of my knitted pieces.

I love wearing scarves myself and pay special attention to using the softest most wearable yarns in all of my pieces. Over the course of running the shop, I discovered this was very important for guys too! I have focused a lot of my work on creating pieces especially tailored to men.
